TAXES
The Tax General Directorate (DGI) is an agency of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP). Said agency is in charge of the enforcement, collection and control of the national taxes.
The main functions are: collection of taxes, application of penalties or fines, automatic tax determination, settlement of debts or implementation of other measures.
The Tax General Directorate encourages the taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations.
The main strategies of the Tax General Directorate are related to the facilitation and simplification of the formalities necessary for the citizens to fulfill their obligations.
